Welcome to the official blog of the 2008 Democratic National Convention Committee. Here you can find up to the minute news from the DNCC and start a conversation with the DNCC staff. The four-day Democratic National Convention begins in Denver, Colorado August 25, but it’s never too early to start planning for the big event.

The Democratic National Convention Committee blog is a community. The DNCC wants you to share your ideas and thoughts. This should be a place where individuals can express themselves. We ask that when you post a comment that you are courteous and mindful of others. That means that bigoted, sexually explicit language, name-calling etc. will not be tolerated.

    For information about the Convention including answers to your questions, you should visit our website http://www.demconvention.com/faq.html. If you are a member of the media in Canada and would like to apply for credentials, you should contact the Congressional Press Gallery for information on applying for media credentials.
